The Contests

	THE 2008 CLASSIC ARCADE GAMING (DOT COM) TOURNAMENT: MARCH 2008, BLOOMINGTON, IL	Another year, another edition of the best arcade contest in existence - the CAGDC Tournament !  We're ready for the third annual edition, which is being held at a new location this year - Pro Putt Family Fun Center, in Bloomington, IL.  Like the previous two events, this one will carry on being the first (and only) cag event in history to be totally designed for, and around, the players that will be participating.  Check out all the details right here.
	FUNSPOT: MAY / JUNE 2007, WEIRS BEACH, NH	Here's an all-encompassing summary, on one big page, of the latest Funspot tournament.  I've got my usual incredible photo coverage (246 shots, plus 60 more from Blaine Locklair), complete tourney results, and media articles that summate the people and the happenings.  It was a great event, so learn all about it... right here !
	THE 2007 CLASSIC ARCADE GAMING (DOT COM) TOURNAMENT: MARCH 2007, WYOMISSING, PA	I'm proud to announce the second annual CAGDC Tournament, which is again being held at Challenge Arcade in PA, thanks to owner Joe LeVan.  Like the first event, this one will carry on being the first (and only) cag event in history to be totally designed for, and around, the players that will be participating.  Check out all the details here, and for a picture page that covers the entire event, click here.
	EAST COAST ARCADE CHAMPIONSHIPS: SEPTEMBER 2006, WYOMISSING, PA	The inaugural edition of this event didn't have a lot of contestants, but the quality of play, and the assortment of games, made for a very interesting time.  While more info and details will be forthcoming, for now there is a nice assortment of over 120 pictures from the event.
	FUNSPOT: JUNE 2006, WEIRS BEACH, NH	There's more info, and pics, coming soon, but for now, you can check out this giant set of just under 300 pictures that cover pretty much everything that went on at the 8th annual Funspot tourney this year.

	CGEUK: AUGUST 2005, LONDON, ENGLAND	Thanks to Alex Weir, a faithful CAGDC member, I'm able to present the only pictures of the CGEUK 2005 event on the web.  For those in the U.S. who weren't able to make it to 'the other side of the pond', this (along with the accompanying short write-up) should give a window into the people, and events, that took place there.
	FUNSPOT: JUNE 2005, WEIRS BEACH, NH	As promised a while back, 'more info and pics' are now here (!), in addition to my original huge set of over 120 pictures that were originally anchoring this page.  My pics, and an additional 40+ from the lens of Fred Pastore, cover most everything for this year's Funspot tournament, from day 2 onward.  In addition, there's scoring coverage, plus a media story from a local newspaper.  Enjoy !
	FUNSPOT: JUNE 2004, WEIRS BEACH, NH	A lot more is coming this summer, but for now, you can get a great 'feel' for the annual Funspot contest with this set of fifty pictures, covering all four of the tourney days.
	FUNSPOT: JUNE 2003, WEIRS BEACH, NH	Better late than never - I just got around (a few years after the fact) to posting this set of pictures from the first contest that I'd been to in about 15 years !  Well, I waited too long, on both taking the trip, and doing the picture posting, but it's all ready now, so check it out !
	FUNSPOT: MAY 1999, WEIRS BEACH, NH	Prepare for complete coverage, all on one page, of the very first Funspot tournament, which was held in 1999.  I've got world-exclusive photos (hell, any photos are a world-exclusive, as no one else has posted any !), complete (and well-organized) tourney results, and even an article summarizing a lot of the goings-on.  So, strap on the time machine, and take a trip back to the last Millennium.
	CAPTAIN VIDEO: JANUARY 1985, LOS ANGELES, CA	This happens to be the first contest that I ever attended, and I met, and saw, some of the greatest gamers in history here, including some future Hall of Famers...
	TWIN GALAXIES: NOVEMBER 1982, OTTUMWA, IA	Here's essentially the first gaming contest ever held, and by the most recognized host in cag history: Twin Galaxies.
	MORE TO COME...	I have results, and materials (posters, entry forms, invitations, etc.), from a number of famous contests, both from the 80's, and also the more recent ones.  Keep checking back as more are added, and the history of these important contests is chronicled, and preserved.
