News: Dean Saglio blows away the top Donkey Kong score Ever since the documentary movie The King of Kong (and beforehand, too), numerous players have topped the long-standing 874,300 1980's Donkey Kong score by Billy Mitchell. That list included Dean Saglio, who last November on MAME made a superb mark of 1,073,000, the topmost score ever officially achieved. The arcade record recently increased to 1.06M, and was closing in on Dean's score... until an early morning game on April 19th, 2010, where Dean pushed things past even a rumored high of over 1.12M by Billy, to a colossal MAME result of 1,136,400 points !
