News:
Fifth annual edition of the CAGDC Tourney rocked !

All attendees of the big year 5 edition of the Classic Arcade Gaming (dot com) Tournament agreed that this was the biggest and best one yet !  A record number of entrants and a record prize purse was just the beginning; records galore were set, and celebrities reigned !

Thanks go out to everyone that attended the event, held at Richie Knucklez' Arcade in March 2010.  And, a huge congratulations goes out to the four-peat winner, Donald Hayes !

I recently received notice from Jon Stoodley (U.K Jon) that he was stepping down from his post as one of the two Junior Mods on the forums (Mark Boolman / Welby is the other).  Needless to say, I was sorry to hear this, but I'll remember the fine job he did as moderator.

Well, after he informed me of his decision, I got to work looking for a replacement, and there were a number of contenders.  I asked quite a few of my gaming friends, and CAGDC staff, their thots, and then examined my ideas for candidates.  While a final two choices were both very close in the running for the position, I picked John Marks (voodoo_chilly) as the new mod.

Needless to say, I know he'll do a fine job, and be an asset to the existing moderation staff (myself, Ben Falls / ben (the Global Mod), and Mark B.).  Please join me in congratulating him, and welcoming him into this role.

I'm sorry to hear than Jon Stoodley has stepped down as Junior Moderator of the CAGDC Forums.  He did an excellent job in his position, and hopefully I can perform the Junior Moderator duties as well as he did.  I'd like to thank the forum members that suggested my name for consideration to the position, and Mark Alpiger for selecting me as a Junior Moderator.  I was quite surprised and honored at the same time!
