Stumbled across this blog post about Funspot from about a year ago and thought it was well-written:

The Last Arcade in America
http://citizengame.ca/2009/04/30/the-last-arcade-in-america

Not sure I agree with his conclusion at the end about its inevitable fate -- I tend to be a little more optimistic about their future -- but I was just happy to see a panoramic photo with the Crazy Taxi that David Hernly, JC Padilla, and I donated sitting in the middle of it all, right across from the Pac family.  Smile

I also didn't like the last paragraph of the story.I usually love reading people's first time visiting FunSpot. It brings me back to when I first went there a few years ago of how a place like that exists today. Yeah, a lot of the games have problems, but there's only so many people that can fix the games, plus if their not making money, whats the point in fixing them? First it sounded like he enjoyed himself but then ends it with "They know they have cancer..." What the hell? Also, somebody should send him a link to Aurcade or ArcadeFly just to prove their not the last arcade in America.
