Ken House and Donald Hayes dig out a place in history

It was long believed that scoring 5 million points on the Atari classic Dig Dug was impossible.  But, in the Autumn of 2009, that barrier was actually surpassed twice, and in less than two weeks time.  On October 25th, Donald Hayes of Windham, NH was the first player to dig beyond the perceived limit, with a final mark of 5,085,000 points.  Refusing to put away his shovel, Ken House of Hillsboro, OR dug a bit deeper, and on November 4th, set the current WR score of 5,136,150 points.  Congratulations to both Donald and Ken for their incredible performances on this major classic arcade title.

If I recall from their website, it seemed they had a Moon Patrol. Did you by any chance see it? Just curious. I will enter this in to Aurcade shortly.

OK, I have entered in Benne's pizza into the Aurcade database. It is located here: http://www.aurcade.com/locations/view.aspx?id=722 Let me know if anything else needs to be added/changed, etc.

Nope, no Moon Patrol... the Asteroids Deluxe in one of the pictures on their website wasn't there either.  We did see a sign that said they sell games, so it's possible it got sold, or they rotated it out.

Looks good.  The only thing I see is that Bene only has one 'n'.  Thanks Graham!

BTW, the high score on the TRON before I played was 79 thousand something so somebody around there isn't bad at it.  TRON doesn't hold scores (unless there is some kind of high score kit available) so it must have been done that day.

Maybe mine is messed up and won't hold them anymore.  I know it doesn't so I guess I assumed they all don't.
