Costanza no longer Master of His (Frogger) Domain

Perennial loser George Costanza (a fictional character from TV's Seinfeld) suffered the ultimate defeat shortly before the new year when Pat Laffaye of Westport, Connecticut surpassed not only his own non-fictional Frogger world record of 771,060 but George's (literally) unreal score of 860,630 with an incredible 896,980 points.  Pat's highest ever verified Frogger score also surpasses Donald Hayes' MAME record of 881,150.  Now, the race is on to 1 million points and the 256th board.

Yes, many thanks.  Mark's supposed to have about 275 that he needs to upload when he gets settled back in.

Yes, many thanks.  Mark's supposed to have about 275 that he needs to upload when he gets settled back in.

Well, as many times seems to be the case, it took a number of days longer than I thot it would to get the pics up, but, as is also usually the case, it was worth the wait !  They've been up since Wednesday night (it always pays to check my 'What's New' page !), and I just waited until today to post about it here, as I was tweaking the captions, and getting the Members Area original-size pics up, plus the Elite Members Area pics (which consist of the discarded ones that I didn't use on the main site), put up and ready.

As far as the details go, from the 277 I took, I have 194 pictures (from both the show, and trips I took in the area) posted, plus the discarded batch (for the Elite members) that consists of the remaining 83 pics (including a number of quality shots that everyone would likely want to see).  Remember to keep posting on these forums, and you can keep the Members Area status that everyone with at least one post (every 6 months) gets automatically.  In addition, anyone with the previous status, plus at least 65 or more total posts (currently only mark Boolman, but Greg Erway is closing in, and I know Kelly Tharp will be there quickly, when he gets computer access again) gets to be included in the Elite Members Area.  Of course, you can also get either Member privilege by paying ($5 or $10, respectively), but, when it's free, why not just post !

I've passed out a number of the Username and Password sets that are required to access the Members Area, but still have a few to go, so if you don't have yours yet, it's coming !  Please note that, per the forum sign-up agreement, in order to get membership, you must have at least your first name somewhere in your profile (mainly so that people that reply to you don't have to say 'hey you' !).  The best spot to put your name is in the signature area, but having it in other areas (perhaps even as part of your e-mail address) can work, even tho it's not preferred.  Anyway, if you haven't gotten your member sign-in info next week, e-mail me at the address in my profile, or on my web site, and I'll take care of it.

Now, I'll wind up this post with a referral to another one; go here to see my show summary, and, let me invite other attendees (like Phil Y. and Jon K.) to chime in with their summaries, if they have the time.
