"I
better take off my Rolex watch for this one."
- Frank Seay
Frank obtained one of those classic fake Rolex watches,
and I occasionally teased him about it being a fake (listen to
the video for my background comment). Well, because of my
consternation with his 'Rolex', he made sure to comment that he was going
to take it off before playing this particular game (presumably to not
interfere with his gameplay, as his hand moved over the control
panel). It turned out that the game was the best we ever caught on
tape, so his prognosticating ability was eerily accurate.

"Let's go,
Bentley."
- Frank Seay
As the game warps up to level 8, Frank makes a comment to
Bentley Bear himself. Well, not really, but, it isn't the first time
that he (or I) have talked to a video game !

"He f***** didn't get one...
(Good job.) hardly."
- Frank Seay / Mark Alpiger
Well, since this is a public site, I figured that I'd
'star' out the profane term that Frank used here (tho I'm sure if you're
over 11, you can figure out what it is !). Frank said this phrase after
completing a good run on level 9, screen 4, and was noting that the
Crystal Ball that was rolling about the ramps on the screen didn't pick up
any gems... well, almost none, as noted by the 'hardly' part ! In
the middle of his comment, I chimed in with "Good job", as he
did quite well, under the pressure of knowing this was a good game.
Also, just prior to this screen, the tape we were recording on ran out
(!!), and so I had to rewind a bit, and overwrite part of this game on the
tape, in order to capture the ending of it. So, that was a
distraction that Frank dealt with very well.

"This is a 900
score."
- Frank Seay
After the great run on 9/4 (as we call level 9, screen 4),
Frank predicted the game would turn out to be 900,000+ points. And,
again in a notable bit of prognosticating, he ended up being right.

"It's a 900 score.
900,869."
- Frank Seay
Just after completing 10/1 (the final screen of the game),
but before the bonus score screen appeared, Frank again predicted that the
game would turn out to be 900,000+ points, and then predicted the exact
score (based on what he thot his time bonus would be). Yet again, he
ended up being right. We've got a new Nostradamus here !

"I
gotta... I gotta salute that !" "Yeah, don't salute it
that way, Mark... not with my tape runnin'..."
- Mark Alpiger / Frank Seay
With Frank's game complete, and his initials freshly
entered onto the score table, I ad-libbed a 'poke' at his superior
gameplay - a 'salute' to his score... with my middle finger ! I put
it right below his score, and he chastised me, since he didn't want the
gesture showing up on tape. Hey, I couldn't resist !
